At Far + Wide we strive to process your order as quickly and carefully as possible. Most orders are processed within 3 business days, however during periods of higher than normal volume we will reach out to let you know about any delays. All orders are processed, packed, and shipped from our store in Kamloops, BC.
At this time, Far + Wide only ships within Canada. Orders are usually shipped with Canada Post. Far + Wide is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. We offer $15 Flat Rate Shipping on all orders and complimentary shipping on orders over $150 before taxes and after any discounts or promotions.
Occasionally, an item listed on our website will be listed for sale for local pickup only, due to size or weight restrictions. We do not ship plants.
Far + Wide is not responsible for any loss that may be incurred due to incorrect shipping address entered at checkout. Once an order has shipped, we cannot update address information, if you notice a mistake please contact us immediately. Any additional shipping costs incurred for rejected or returned packages will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
Once your order is shipped you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.
While we strive to keep our website and inventory up to date, item availability is not guaranteed. If an item is sold out you will be notified by email and given the option to wait for the item to be restocked or have your purchase refunded.
Orders placed for in-store pickup will be available within one business day at our brick and mortar location in Kamloops. Orders may only be picked up during regular store hours. We will confirm when your order is ready for pick-up. Order number and proof of purchase is required when picking up your order.
We ask that you please pick-up your order within one week, as our ability to hold items is limited. Additionally, we highly recommend that all orders containing plants are picked up within two business days of ordering to ensure optimal plant health. If you have not received a confirmation that your order is ready for pick-up within two business days of the date of ordering please contact us by phone for immediate assistance.
Holiday Shipping Policy 2021: For Local Delivery, cut off is December 20th. For Regional Delivery cut off is December 15th & for National Delivery it is December 9th.
Far + Wide only ships within Canada. Orders are usually shipped with Canada Post. Far + Wide is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. Dates are between major urban centres and are dependent on origin and destination. Some restrictions apply. Shipping only takes place Tuesday – Friday between business hours.
Far + Wide gladly accepts returns for merchandise. All returned merchandise must be in unused, re-sellable condition. In store purchases are subject to regular store policies of exchange or store credit only.
All plants, jewellery, bath and beauty products, sale items, and food products are final sale.
Items returned within 14 days are eligible for exchange or in-store credit. The original sales receipt must accompany any returns and items must be in unused, re-sellable condition. At this time we do not process cash returns on in-store purchases under any circumstances.
Online returns made within 7 days of delivery will be processed for a refund. Refunds are applicable to online purchases of regularly priced merchandise only. Returned merchandise must be in unused condition in the original packaging. Any items returned that are not in their original condition will not be accepted.
If your order arrives damaged please contact Far + Wide at farandwidekamloops[@]gmail.com. All damages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of your order.
In order to qualify for a return you must contact us at farandwidekamloops[@]gmail.com and we will provide you with instructions for your return. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Any costs incurred returning items, including shipping, are the sole responsibility of the customer. Far + Wide is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.
